Decided to go south yesterday to our offshore office but had a challange getting my fishing partners to go due to a couple too many diesel fuels. Finally found a hardy soul and packed up for a bumpy ride for the first 10 miles then the seas calmed. Our first thought was to try for tuna since we had seen a big yellow at the San Roc docks on Saturday, but all changed when we ran over a couple promising spots SW of OB in about 700' of water. All in all we landed snoweys, tile and snaps. Water was fairly clear with a lot of flying fish and only one shrimp boat to be seen. Thought we may run across a weed line, but none to be found.
Headed north around 1:30pm and let the ole blue Contender stretch her legs. Great day on the water-wonder what they were doing in Kansas??
