Default Mobile big game fishing club Limited tournament

Once again I was lucky enough to fish with the boys on hyer standards. We left out after the captains meeting made 100 mile run to the deep seas drillship. The 36 invincible handle the head sea excellent at a cruising speed of 32 miles an hour the whole way. We were the first to arrive at the drillship and we quickly loaded the boat with blackfin. We were showing plenty of marks. Around 230 we decided to head to globetrotter because we were accompanied by 7 boats. After the 10 mile run the same scenario showing marks but no bites. 4:30 AM rolled around and we headed southeast to Lloyd's ridge. The morning started slow but ended decently with six Mahi around 15 pounds. There was no lack of fish as we saw blue Marlin free jumping an big yft free jumping all up and down the grass line but unable to connect. The crew was great as always we had a wonderful time, can't wait for the next trip.
Downtime2 and PJIII like this.

All in all still sounds like a great trip to me! It's amazing that boats like the Invincible are out there that allow a single day tournament to include Lloyds Ridge!
