Default Looking for reports from the weekend

We're headed out early tomorrow and plan to hit up the spur, 131, nipple and elbow. Did anyone have any luck this weekend? Looking for some advice on water temp, weed lines and color, if there is anything to share. Much appreciated.

there are several very broken weedlines north and south of the nipple. You will spend more time clearing lines than fishing.

We were out there today and fished the edge from destin west, and then circled back to the east. The water to the east looked better and seemed to hold more life. We had a few knock downs and one cut leader. I think the wahoo are out there right now, so make sure to use steel leader.

All in all..... I wish I would have spent more of the day battling those big snapper on light tackle because they are thick just about anywhere you stop. Be sure to have a few spinning rods rigged up fr casting on the way out. There are a lot of small dolphin holding under the broken up weeds

We fished the edge south of Destin all afternoon and the water looked great passed the 360-400 range with a better weedline forming. Landed two wahoo and fought a Blue Marlin for about 20min before he said goodbye.... Good luck

Thanks for the advice. We ended up fishing the east side of the nipple on Monday. Arrived at day break, put out a spread of blue and white and red and black islanders with ballyhoo on the riggers, light blue cedar plug on the fly, purple and black hard head on the short and blue and white plastic on the other.

No luck early. Hooked up with our first Hoo around 8:00 (30 lbs class) followed by a long dry spell and brought in our last Hoo around noon (30 lbs class). We came across two schools of blackfins feeding but no luck on either. No weedlines worthy of note. Lots of scattered grass.
