If your planning on big gamming it you may try the squiggles and the wings aka 100 phathom curve toward the east on your way to or back from the bouy. If you find any bait on the surface fish it as long as you can. Good luck.

I have found the only bad thing about running to the bouy is once you get there thats it nothing else for a ways then its back to the wings or squiggles or on to loyds ridge i have been there numorous times this year and have yet to land a fish there. Look to the east towards the middle grounds

well we tried Fri morning and had to turn around for a huge storm about 30 miles off. So we decide to leave gulf breeze the same night at 9 pm and run to the oil rigs. 18 hours later we were back at the docks

We fished just north of the squiggles on Saturday. The water was clear green with a decent amount of bait. We hooked a nice hoo and a couple of small dolphin. Lots of peanut dolphin and bait on a small floater. No weed lines at all.
