Thumbs up End of the week

Any good advice for the end of the week??? Thursday night over nighter. Is there blue water in the Gulf anywhere? or weed lines? Any info will be greatly appreciated

There is a great site called www.realtime-navigator.com which shows you water color, altimetry, currents, rig locations, and so much more!

As you know things can change quickly :

But I was out this weekend and the best water I saw was in close from the nipple east to the Madison swansons area


There was life


We hooked 2 whites : but we only had 2 troll bites the whole trip :


Last observation based on reports : if you have range to go 170 miles and get back Lloyd's ridge or the rigs west of the river

Yes I have this but it has not given a good shot in the last few days

You sure? Plenty of good shot on the 28th, and an excellent shot on the 27th....

yes, decent chloro shots both days...unfortunately water is just pushed way out. doesnt mean you can't catch fish...but makes it less than ideal.

There is no color in the area I am looking we must not have the same shots. There is color to the west and to the south but looks like cloud cover all around the area I am looking.....
