Default Destin HOOTERS

Just a quick report tonight, I will fill in the details in the morning. Here's some pics, fishing with "Billin" today, did well. 3 hooters, all solid fish and one hoss. Big guy measured 72" and was pissed off to be hooked.

Here's some more details, we were fishing the nipple area, got all of our bites in 350-400', didn't seem to be much going on in the deeper areas. All 3 ate an ilander/ballyhoo combo. We had a couple other strikes, nothing solid. Tons of scattered grass, no well formed lines to speak of. We did find several large grass patches and tried to find some mahi but they just weren't there. Very little surface activity, only saw one school of small blackfin and very few birds. Saw a handful of flyers, water looked awesome. Thanks to Mike for an awesome trip, we did pretty good for just being two of us! Time to go give my vac sealer a workout.
