Default Bow Down International Report

We left out Thursday night after Capt. meeting and headed SW. We made several stops at different rigs heading down as far as Thunderhorse Friday afternoon. We had great weather and calm seas both days. We were targeting yellowfin tuna and we caught 12 in the end we most being 40-50#. We could have caught more of the 40-50# as they were thick at just about every rig stopped at. We also fished a nice line just south of Nakika and had three knock downs within an hour. The first was a wahoo nothing big but would have liked to got him, the second was a blue that hit the lure as we were letting it back out(after checking it from the wahoo) and the last was a nice mahi that hit the shotgun and went across the spread before spitting the hooks. We had a blast the whole time out and had great company on the boat. We ended up weighing 3 yellowfin with the smallest being 48 and 54, and the largest being 94.8 that was third until the last boat "First Choice" came in with the 146 that bumped us down. We later found out they actually caught the fish a mile behind us on that line. We did end up getting 3rd place calcutta so it was still nice to pay the bills and get some cash.

I want to thank Kevin and the crew of the International for a great time and and awesome tournament!!

Nice! That's covering some serious water, but sometimes that's what it takes!
