Smile Thursday Trip

What a great trip we had today, Wife drug me out of bed at 5am, loaded up the boat and headed out. The wife was ready to use some of her 30lbs of Menhaden she caught and try for some mingos, but first I had to hit the Mass for some big Ly's and big Herrings. There was a very awesome blue cat (I think it was a Freeman) man-0-man, what a boat that was. Then sense it was so calm we headed for some 100' water. WOW what a difference I got a big (for me) Snapper 10#er, he grabbed that LY like he just robbed a bank, what a fight. The wife was to busy catching mingos and she was happy, she hooked up a pretty dang good size Trigger, hated throwing him back. Porpoise were everywhere, every time I was hooked up he just sat there at 5ft under me watching my snappers come up. We filled up a 90qt cooler. scrubbed the boat, shower, food, 2 advil, ZZZZzzzzzzzzzz.

Nice catch.

I have had a dolphin on my coops every day I have fished them this year. They haven't taken a single fish off the line though. Only eaten one small throw back. Until this year they would pick them right after I hooked them.

I have never had a Porpoise hit a fish I had on the hook. That is weird.
