Made it offshore today! got a few Cigs at the mass, not very many. Went out about 25 miles to a couple spots after trolling with no luck seas layed down after I got about 10 miles offshore. Caught a nice Bonita and use that for a cut bait and that fresh cut bait brought most of the fish in👍👍. Tons of Snapper, red grouper, gag and a few nice Triggers. All in all a good day.

We drop down and shot the lionfish but I would say we got about 65 ? The chicken coop we were on was covered up. We killed everything we could and only left a couple of backed way into a spot we couldn’t get

Just curious, do you eat the lionfish or sell them? I hope to try it this summer, but I hear they're good to eat.

I’ve bought lion fish from the store (Destin Whole Foods) and it’s good. The meat is a little delicate so you need to be careful how you don’t over season it, but we had no complaints!
