My buddy is buying a fellow forum member’s boat so we loaded up for an offshore trip with the current and new owner this past Saturday. The plan was to load up on mingo. First few spots weren’t very good with some red snapper and triggers. We kept at it and found them biting on some public rubble. Most I’ve caught in a trip. I think the new boat is good luck.

Nice haul. Best eating fish in the GOM. Of course new regs will screw us over soon.
