Default Last trigger run for us

Headed out today with 7 anglers on board. I was interested to see how the boat would handle a big load. I figure 150 avg per person, plus 500 in the livewell, plus ice and misc. Maybe a 2,000 lb load right on the stern. Also had topped off the fuel at 300 gals, diesel at 15 gals, water at 40 gals.

The Zuke 300s handled it no problem. There is no substitute for horsepower.

Anyway, hit the first spot expecting a quick trigger limit. No current and no action. After a few drifts headed to deeper water. Spot in 105 ft yielded 2 legal and 1 MONSTA trigger. Then it shut down.

Tried a few spots I've marked but never fished. First one was spotty, but 2nd one was the right place. Limited out with some gooduns in a few minutes.

Seas were exceptional. Ran in at 30 kts to clean fish and boat. Great day and a great crew!
