Left the joes bayou 6:30 stoped at the pass and got bait in less then 30 minutes, Our plan was to head to edge to do some bottom fishing. Half way there I saw 2 orange bouy tied up to something like a tarp hanging on them, stoped up current with ipilot and casted a white and green jig, several Mahi started chasing it and got one hooked up instantly, started chumming real quick and the bloody massacre began, after little while they stoped hitting jigs, so I started using fresh fish chucks, and last little live bait until they quit bitting, we were done fishing by 10:30, took a little longer to clean the boat then usually, we had blood everywhere lol, looking forward to head out this weekend again.

Love those mahi. They fight, jump, easy to clean, freeze well, taste great! Good trip.
