7/11 offshore report
put in at shoreline at 515 hoping to beat the crowd but the lot was already pretty much full i guess from people over nighting for the blues. hit up the bait man and caught some threadfins. went out to a spot 25 miles out and caught a few decent snapper up to 26 inches. schools of GIANT hardtails and small bobo were everywhere and were fun to catch on my little captiva 2000. heres a friend we brought along having fun with a little bonito.
then after a few short grouper and some nice lanes i started throwing the got cha again and not 20ft from the boat a cuda skies about 6ft out of the water and i though i was going to bring in another hardtail or bobo head but ends up the cuda hit the gotcha. it was a nice cuda for such light tackle.
it wasnt the best trip we've ever had but it was fun even though it wasnt the forecasted less than 1' (imagine that)

That is a blast on light tackle but the stink on the cuda is nauseating.
II Chronicles 7:14
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
