Default 12/30 Report

Quick report from yesterday. After leaving the dock at 6:30 and having to navigate via instruments due to the fog we finally made it out of the pass to try for bait at the buoys. I couldn't see any bait on the display so we tried a couple half hearted drops with no luck and decided to press on with the frozen cigs and squid in the cooler. The original plan was to prospect some spots I haven't fished in a while but that changed after the first drop on the first spot we hit 28 miles out. It was nonstop quality mingos in 18-20 inch range as well as scamp, red snapper, amber jack, and sharks. The seas were sporty on the way out but it laid down nicely as the day progressed.
