Default yellow gravel???

i just got my boat last year and of course didnt get much fishing in until the special season. only went to close by public spots and did really good for a newbie. my boat is a 23ft cc with an evinrude ocean pro 200 on it. it holds around 100 gallons + so is it possible to leave out of orange beach and get to yellow gravel and back? are there grouper out there? and if so do pin fish work good for them? is that a good area to troll for wahoo? any help will be greatly appreciated
