Was gonna go to the rigs with Rich but timeline wouldn't allow. Guess I will try for an AJ Saturday.

I'm thinking of going out. Do you typically hit the same spots for AJ's in the winter or do the typically move in or out this time of year?

I didn't know that, but have caught plenty of amberjack close in during the non-winter months. Well, it is hit of miss. But once this year, at a spot 8 miles from The Pass, we could not catch any snapper, because the AJ's would hit the (live) bait first.

1' right now and should die even more. Don't like the 4 sec wave period, acts as a bumpy ride, but can deal with the wave height. I'll just do around 25 MPH.

This is a great bouy to look at if going to the edge or closer in.
