Default Wanna know how to catch dolphin

how far out do you have to go do you troll around for them or spot them and cast to them? thanks for any info

The actual distance out is not the deciding factor. If you find some floatsom , you will find Dolphin. The water is warm enough for them to be anywhere from just off the beach out to the Canyon. You can find them free swimming but finding things floating is a better bet. I take a light rod with me and cast a small floating Yozuri Crystal Minnow when you see them and I have a blast doing it.
