Wahoo usually start showing up in good numbers when the water gets +/- 75 degrees and stays there for a week or two. That is usually around April. Fish the Edge and zig zag between 200 and 400 feet. Water color can be from clean green to blue and they will still bite. Dolphin are gonna want it a little warmer. 78+ usually. Concentrate on finding debris till the grass moves in. Rips and pushes also suffice. Water is gonna have to be clean and warm. Preferably blue. Although, we have caught them in clean green too though. The larger ones are gonna be in blue though. Follow the currents and pay attention to thier leading edges. Bait is more dominant there.

There are tons of wahoo caught in 68 - 70 degree water. Dolphin are more summer fish, but the best hooter bite is right now if you can get to where they are.
