Default vertical jig leader?

i got a few vertical jigs to play with. a few are big/heavy ones. others are small like a 0z or 2. so wire,flouro,mono or straight to my braid?

For the bigger ones lastcast is correct. For the smaller you will have to downsize your leader size.

On the last tuna trip (and it's been a while) the kings and cuda were so bad we had to add about 6" of single-strand to the jig. Still caught plenty of tuna (water wasn't super clear) and lost far fewer jugs to teefy critters. 6-8 ft of 60# mono, short wire, then jig.
