More than you ever wanted to know about venting. Ever vent by poking the stomach coming out of a fishes mouth? Wrong.

In case my embedded video did not work: http://youtu.be/SyMCUk1SKV0

Thats funny but i think that is what the some Charter and most Party boats think anyway. There are always Snapper floating all over the place behind them.

ill vent them let them go porpoises will snatch fish out my hand, stand on tail and talk flipper language at me. when that happened we would move a few miles and whole school of porpoises followed us. let one go one day and something not a porpoise sucked it in with a 5 ft eddie like a 300lb fresh water bass hitting a topwater. i would be happy to keep smaller snapper so this wouldnt happen. when snapper isnt in season we leave if we catch one. got to where i hate snapper. like catching mudfish or gar, or tarpon. why fish for something u cant keep and eat.

Very interesting video. Anyone know if they ever finished the study about red snapper. From what I heard the lady on the video said venting doesn't help them. I have seen a lot of red snapper I have caught float if not vented, I wonder why they say it doesn't help? I hate to see flipper munching on a red snapper I have spent so much time and money catching and can't even eat.
