Default Trevela vs Trevela F?

What's the difference that justifies a $50 dollar price jump? Worth it?

The Fuji SIC guides are where the extra $ comes from I'm sure. Higher quality materials cost more.

Fuji SiC on F series vs Alconite on the original

recessed "palming" trigger seat on F series

carbon fiber butt section on F series for more lifting power and less bend into the butt of the rod. You won't have the line bite into the foregrip on the f series or at least not on the heavier models

I think you can get a gimbal on the travala f as well. Has removable cover.

I still use Trevela rods sometimes, I like them because they are great rods. Before I ordered my first custom acid wrapped rod, I had Half Hitch acid wrap one of the rods I already had so I could try it out and see if I liked it. I ordered custom rods but I still have that acid wrapped Trevela.
