Am thinking about it. Fishijng ought to be good. The frequent thunderstorms should abate and seas 1 to 2. However, I have a persnickety water leak into the boat which I cannot find. It is slow, but bothers me a lot.

Went out saturday in my 20' bay boat just out of Pensacola Pass. Had some dusters out and one on the downrigger. Something grabbed the downrigger bait and started tearing off line. Figured it was a good size king. Got it near the boat and saw the stripes. Had a 50" Hoo. We were a little less than a mile out of the pass. Is this common? I've never heard of them being caught that close in.

I believe it is rare, but happens. My theory, though, is that this year many things are unusual because of the oil. I know that surprises are always happening, but this year seems different.

I'm w/ Stressless! I know the anecdotal evidence points to no fish on full moon, but its been so long I'm going for it.
