Default Tiger Lite Jigging 6'6 spinning rod

Anyone have one of these? Thinking about replacing an old 7' rod with one. I have a SSV 8500 and was thinking about a top thrower/jigger for offshore. Do they cast decent? The intent is to toss live bait/lures on top while offshore and a back up AJ jigger all in one.

thanks

I've got a couple of them, they have plenty of backbone for AJ's. As for tossing a popper, if its a big one you should be alright.

We have a couple on the boat.. They have worked with out a hiccup. My dad has one he bottom fises with. he got a tiny rollor tip put on his because he kept cracking the tip. He uses it with braid. I told him would get wedged in. but going on two years now and no problems. Just the way he rolls works for him.
