Default State Red Snapper Voluntary Survey

The State of Florida is conducting a study to better estimate the numbers of red snapper that are harvested <span style="text-decoration: underline;">and the condition of red snapper that are released by recreational anglers.

This is our chance to let the state know the true status of our endangered ARS!

They will do what ever they want to do no matter what you tell them.

If you tell them that you caught your limit each and every trip and you say "see, there must be a ton of snapper out there." they will say the snapper are being over fished.

If you tell them you caught your limit and then released a ton of snapper they will say that most of the snapper you are throwing back are dying and they are being over fished.

If you tell them that you had a hard time catching snapper they will say they are endangered. Either way, don't expect common sense to prevail anytime soon with this.

I agree 100%, because they are not truely looking for actual data but instead they are listening to the tree hugging minority to shut down fishing. They also know the only way they can do that is to take it a little at a time, because they know we will not stand for them to do it all at once. They have to pick it off a piece at a time until the acheive their goals of total closure. After all you are hurting the Sea Kittens so says PETA.
