Default Speed jig

I donít hear many people talk about speed jigging on here. Does anyone have success in state waters? Or is this just a soflo thing?

I have pretty decent success using the smaller jigs on 4000 and 5000 sized spinning setups. I'm within 10 miles of shore about 95% of the time. I jig them for small AJ's. And I cast and jig/speed retrieve for schoolie Mahi/Kings/Bonitas.

snapper will eat everything from squid to a piece of boot. I jig them up regularly...it saves on changing out live/dead baits

We catch a lot of fish on them but mostly fish fed waters. Everything from black snapper to blackfin tuna will eat them.

I catch a lot of different species on my jigs including red snapper, trigger, kings, occasional cobia, and lots of bonita. Finally had good success also with BFT on a recent charter trip.
