Default something is unbalanced besides me

u know what? Easy to catch a limit of red snapper for 4 anglers in a very short time (usually less than 45 min) , but locations where we would usually catch a mixed bag there is nothing there now but red snapper!! This years by-catch since June 3:
1. zero lane snapper
2. 1 black snapper (small)
3. 2 mingos
4. 1 porgy
5. zero legal trigger
6. 3 ruby red lips
7. 1 legal gag
8. zero other grouper
9. zero amberjack
10. zero cobia.
NOT MUCH BALANCE THERE!

Default This is sort of a go-by that I use...

Grouper-use big baits, huge pinfish, croaker, ruby red lips,
Lane Snapper-luck
Black snapper-super light fluoracorbon, small lead, hide hook
Triggers-Big ones fish off the bottom triple hook rigs cut bait squid, and patients
Cobia-luck
Mingo-go to edge
Amberjack-live hardtails off of the bottom, You will see them in your fish finder in the water column

This is sort of the technique I use to avoid snapper. Granted you will catch snapper 1 out of the 3 drops.

Fishing has been tough this year for us near shore (8-10 miles). Before snapper season every drop was 30incher and we caught what would be our limit in less than half an hour. Now we are lucky to cath them at all. Took us 2 hours today to limit out with the biggest being about 25 inches. I guess at least the first 4 we caught were legal. Catching bait has been the worst part. Before the oil spill we could load up anywhere in between the buoys with football field size bait balls everywhere. Now it takes twice as long having to fight everyone around the Mass. Idk whats up with this year. Also I ain't seen the first bonita anywhere.

Apparently all the bonito are off of alabama. You can't go 5 feet without seeing a bonito right now over here

I havent caught a snapper in two years now...
PLENTY of juvi grouper and AJ
Plenty of Ruby Reds and Porgys as well.
And if we put a live bait in the column... BAM! another King.
