Default Snapper shread leaders too

This is one of my leaders used to free line live baits for snapper these last few days. I use 125 lb mono for my free swimming bait leaders for snapper.

gill plates - when a snapper is big enough to turn his head the mono get dragged across the side of his face .. and the gill plates ...
they are real sharp and has cut my hands when taking small ones off the hook...
Another explanation is a strike by a small king ... thats what the line near a trolling lead looks like when the spanish are thick and hitting leads and swivels
