Default snapper bite

Is it just me or has the snapper bite shut down the last few days?

ya, i went out today and all i caught was 1 lane... it will make for a nice sandwich but not any reds on the half barge, tex edwards, or the 3 barges.... bummer

i think mine was because my dad brought a BLUE LIGHTER though when i saw it i almost sh!+ my pants... I immediately new the problem

went out tues and wed live bait and cigar minnows spots that had been producing quality fish 2 wks ago and couldn't hardly lose a bait.

we went last Sunday. First 2 fish were a 35 and 50# cobia. managed 3 snapper. fish were not marking like they were

I had heard the same thing. I guess it is back on though. We didn't have much trouble getting out 6 person limit yesterday. The went from 17" to 13.5lbs.

Went out on Sunday - got our 8 snapper and one king. Threw back about 8 more keeper snapper. Guess we got lucky. About 9:30 they seemed to shut off so we moved and the bite came back.
