Default Sharks

I am taking a couple of kids fishing tomorrow that REALLY want to catch a shark. Size or type does not matter. Hoping to not have to go too far offshore. Any help would be appreciated. Not looking for a honey hole, just which public spot would be best.

Don't have to go offshore for sharks. Find a point in the bay with good tidal movement. Anchor up and toss something bloody into the drop-off on the down-tide side and wait.

If you stay inshore, the kids should be able to play with blue, ladyfish, and spanish while you're waiting.

Good luck,
Alex

The Three-Mile Bridge might be as good a place as any. Use a larger bait so other species will not bother it too much. You might catch a shark just about anywhere. My neighbor caught a bull shark where we live way up in Escambia Bay. I have caught black tip sharks at The Chimney. They are also all along the beach; if only swimmers knew how many were out there.

You can always go to Mass , there are aways sharks hanging there and it is close to the pass.
