Default rigs for snapper/grouper

I would like some opinions on what setup is best as far as hook type ,size and brand an also what pound an type litter material you guys are having good luck with specifically for bottom fishing wrecks/reefs for snapper an grouper!thanks!

Of course Snapper and Grouper require differet things / tactics. I use 40 or 50 main line and 5/0 or 6/0 circle hooks when targeting Snapper and upto 125# and 8/0 to 12/0 circle hooks for big Grouper. For leader I start with 60# and go down if the Snapper are acting picky and Grouper will hit just about anything if he is hungry, including cloths line or wire.

Please explain the different tactics. I have always used the same rigs and just dropped to the bottom, reel up three turns and hold on. Caught pleny of both. More grouper than snapper and most snapper are small. Maybe you can help me fixt that! haha
