Default post storm wahoo bite

Anybody been out for wahoo since the storms? I might go out to the edge on Friday and give it a whirl

I don't know if I'd call it post-storm as much as post-front. That cold front did a lot of good in taking water temps down a bit. I've found that my favorite temps around the nipple and elbow are from 78-82 degrees. The water has cleaned up a bit, although it's definitely not blue. It looks to be a clean green though and that's good enough in my book. It may still be slow but I'm willing to bet you could get a couple shots at Hoos right now if you put in the time and don't overlook live-baiting around the edge.

I never made it out of the pass on Friday.... I couldn't find enough guys who wanted to go troll to make it affordable in my boat. I fished the destin bridge for Bull reds instead and we tore them up! Hoping to get out there this week and pull some lures though! Thanks for the info ChrisV

Caught one yesterday NW of the nipple in about 400'. Only the one and we ran back over the area twice. No other hits or knock downs but he was 40#.
