Default Panama City

looking to head out to about 200+ft of water out of panama city but dont know about how far to go out. anyone mind giving me a few tips on how far and around what areas to fish looking to do some bottom fishing and maybe a little trolling

31 nm sw of pass is closest water 200',have no info on fishing there yet ,new to offshore fishing, had planned to go there past sunday,sea was ruff,stayed about 15 miles from hill,and setteled for verm snap. maybe i will be more help next week

As suggested, SW is going to be you closest line to 200 feet water though I would say 200 feet is somewhat aribitrary- I would look for multiple numbers or big relief in an area- otherwise you might just end up in the desert (ie nothing but sand). Just W of SW (235 to 250 degrees) is going to be pretty similar distance for the same depth.

The alaska wreck is in about 200 feet very close to the edge of a dropoff on the edge of dropoff that goes to 350-400 feet pretty quick. It is about 40 nm at 225 and in a pretty close line to the squiggles, which is the shortest route to the 100 fathom curve out of PC pass. It is a public # and we have fished it with some success when returning from squiggles. Long way to go though for one number though I know people that do it...
