Default Opinion on Ebay hooks

Hello Everybody,

Trying to get some opinions on some hooks I found on Ebay. These are the 6/0s I was looking at:

And these are the 9/0s I was looking at;

How do you think these would stack up to Eagle Claw Lazer Sharps of the same size?

Default hooks

Most of the time they should work okay, its the one time you get a trophy fish on the line, how much do you want to gamble?

Those are the same hooks that I ordered a year ago and are still using. They are great and at a really good price. Go for it, you wont be disappointed.

I'm with Wagutus, it all depends on how much you want to take a chance with big fish you hook. I don't use bulk Mustad or Eagle Claw hooks anymore because I have had the hooks break while fighting big fish. When I looked at where the hooks broke the metal was full of bubbles like pot metal which is why they broke. I'm sure that those hooks were the exception rather than the rule... but I have never had an Owner hook break. I broke a couple Gamakatsu hooks but when I started using the thick rather than wire style hook, problem solved.
