Default okuma cedros

I bought an Okuma Cedros 20s conventional reel with a matching rod before the oil spill.............and I finally got a chance to test it out Saturday.

Man, I'm very impressed! it's smooth, strong and the rod action was sweet. caught several snappers and kingfish. Next test will be tuna, hopefully soon....

I also fished a Penn Torque and Penn 30 VSX both performed great as well, I am happy with my offseason upgrades that I'm just now getting to use.

I bought a Okuma Solterra and it has been a great reel. I have been really impressed by okuma bottom reels.

I have a Okuma TG-10S and a couple Okuma spinning reels and love them. They perform as well as my Torsa, Sustain and Stradic's. For the money you can't beat them.

I have a v system 65 i bought a year ago to jig with and i really like it. On the last trip the bail wire dropped off so i called Okuma to see if they would send me the parts to fix it. They not only agreed to send the parts but offered to tear the reel down and service it plus fix the bail wire if i sent it to them. took less than a week and half from the time i sent until it was back and it looks like a brand new reel. i also have a solterra Lever Drag that has worked very well so far.

so far i have been impressed with their reels and the service.
