Default offshore this weekend?

I had a guy from work offer me a spot on his boat for a trip offshore this weekend. They are planning on leaving Friday and coming back Sunday. I don't think these guys are professional offshore anglers and i am just a beginner. I would love to go but was wondering if y'all think it will be a nice weekend weather wise to stay out there that long? I checked the marine forecast and it says seas at 1-2' but they don't seem to be very accurate lately. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

I'd jump on that opportunity. I've been dying to go since I've been here but Uncle Sam prevents me from planning any kind of charter. (Don't want to pay and not get to go).

Im most likely going but after fuel cost and everything else it will be around a $200 trip. Im fine with the cost since i love to fish but would hate if the seas are too rough to fish and pay that money for nothing

$200 sounds like a great deal. Bait and Ice may run $200 on a trip like that. Fuel is expensive.

You won't be a beginner when you come back. Go!
