Does anyone fish for Kings at night? When I was a kid we used to drift fish dead baits for them at night over wrecks and reefs. Does that work here?

I use to fish for them at night around the rigs from Ft. Morgan. Non stop action most nights when the water was right. Didn't need anything special, Just drift lined a cig or a live bait.

Me too! But...

How do you get the squid? We have brought them to the boat, but have never been able to catch them. When you get one to bite, he gives a distress signal and none of the others will come to the bait again...
