What size mono do u use for Mingos? I'm currently using 50 but wondering if 30 is too small

I have 50-80lb on, but that's only because they make great donkey bait.

25lb. Used the same leader all day Sunday. Owner 1/0 fine wire hook. 50lb braid main line

thanks everyone.

noticed my mingo rig stash was very small so wanted to make more. i like the idea of having some lighter rigs (25-30lb) when we want to have fun with light tackle.

MIKVI, i wasn't sure if they'd wear out light mono so that's good news.

I buy mingo leaders made up from wally world for 1.98$, when I have time I make my own from 30 lb, ust strong 1 0r 2 hooks or triggars will straighten out hooks. small hooks rule
