Default Looking for Charter and/or split costs on a private boat

Hi All -

I have a 31' Cape Horn that I cant get the wife convinced to pull to Destin from Houston.

We have been to Destin many times before, but never this time of year.

Here is my delimma - I could use some advice.

After having multiple go fast CC's, I cannot stand the slow boat to china routine of the sport fishers at the marina - the smaller 21' center console I chartered last year will be too small for me, my wife and my 2 boys (9&5).

Can anyone suggest a good charter who runs a 27 or 31' Center console out of Destin?

We will be there March 16th through the 20th.

Please e-mail me at [email protected] or call my cell at 281-831-6730.

I will be more than happy to return the favor with someone coming to Galveston, but then again, why would you leave paradise for ..........?!?!?

Thanks!!

Destin is our home port. I do not know of a large outboard charter in the area. Try a search, as I do recall seeinga site; wheresomeone ran trips on a 32' Regulator outof Destin a couple years ago.

You may want to consider a larger boat if you're determined to fish this week. Coastal report has sea state 2-4 feet pretty much most of the week. Odds are it's going to be mor 4 feet than 2 lol.

There's a guy that lives down the street from me who chartershis World Cat: http://www.doubletimecharters.com/

I can't think of others off the top of my head... :S

Edit: This guy too - Lighten Up Charters: http://www.lightenupcharters.com I'veseen him at Joe's sometimes dropping folks off..he had some chicken dolphin in his boat last year sometime & I said "oh where did you get those pretty chickens" & he looked at me like I was stupid & said something about no he wasn't using chicken.. I wanted to laugh, but I also wanted to tuck my head between my legs, lmao... I guess our fish vocabularies are different, lol.
