Default Live bait outside of Destin pass?

Getting ready for a some fishing this weekend. But lately my pinfish traps have been coming up empty around the marina and we haven't found much live bait to speak of out the pass. I did find some green water about 3 miles west of the pass, but didn't see bait about a week ago.

Are you guys finding any out there? Which side and which time?

Am toying with the idea of an overnighter on the edge this weekend - it would be my first. If I'm going to do that, I can't go without some livies.

May your poles be bent!

Phil

Don't know about Destin but PCB buoys are loaded with bait.

I stuck my nose out the Destin pass around noon yesterday just to stretch the Grady's legs a bit. It was an outgoing tide and as expected, baitless and brown!! Anyone seeing anything in the morning?
