Default jig rod

I have purchased a Cabo 60 spinning reel and would like a jigging rod for it that being said i would prefer one that i can also use as a pitch bait rod any recomendations?

Everyone is going to say shimano , but spend the extra andget a super seeker or calstar graphiter.

If your on a budget, I'd say look into either a hopper rod or daiwa saltiga. Otherwise, OTI.

trevala's and okuma's cedros are my 2 favorite that are reasonably priced..... not overly impressed with the saltigas- although mine are conventional.

uhhhhh the kind with long butts, thin blanks and that have a good backbone with fast action tip??? light weight and easy to jig all day with????? from the cheapest shakespeare wal-mart rod to a custom made 8 footer from t williams. does that answer your question?

If Shimano is the best, I am not sure what you have tried. Because as far as backbone it is the least on my list. My little Barefoot for 50 bucks blows Shimano off the water.

never said it was the best...... no mass produced rod could ever be THE BEST..... but for 90 bucks u can get a rod that is pretty damn good and has a life time waranty... i actually just sent one back 2 weeks ago that the tip broke on, after being run over..... NO QUESTIONS ASKED. and had a BRAND NEW ONE in 7 days.
