Default I need an opinon about this question

I need as many of yall's opinon as i can get.

Alright been thinking about this seriously the past 2 months.Everyone that doesn't fish in the gulf is saying that the snapper etc. are scarce

right, but all of us that has a boat and goes fishing on the days that we can knows better than that.We know that the snapper isn't an

endangered species. So if we want to save our rights to fish several of us needs to get together and make some sort of movie/survey to show

that the snapper isn't really endangered.Note:The private and charter boats are not the ones catching the most fish. It's the commercial boats

that are catching the most fish. They had there total snapper quota raised from

2.55 million pounds in 2009 to 3.403 million pounds in 2010. (fwc.com) So if the scientists that work for the government say that the snapper population is over fished, why was the quota raised.

But also remember all those times when you lose that snapper to a dang porpoise thats just one of a dozen those things can eat in a day.Look at there size you know they have to eat a lot of fish in a day.

It's all about money and power.. It doesn't have a damn thing to do with the fishery. Just like everything else on the planet.

It's "we the peoples" resource, not "them the fish Nazi's". WTF does the fed.gov think they get the right to regulate sustenance fishing in the damn ocean, they can only regulate "interstate commerce"...period. Enumerated powers does NOT include this unconstitutional activity. Of course 99% of the rest of the shit all us retards let them get away doesn't either.

They changed the fine print from overfished to overfishing is occurring or some shit like that. They almost admitted to having subjective data... Therefore, they gave an allotted biomass increase which indirectly admits that their data sux.

its the people in stupid south florida. they have no red snapper down there because there not freakin native so they make the limits so that they "should" in theory get more snapper. but the snapper are native to here so we are the ones punished.

Default Those "scientific" decisions are political

The decisions being made are purely 100% political.....Opening red snapper season for Fri....Sun is a perfect example......Cutting recreational then increasing the commercial harvest limit is another good example.....

I used to think it was sportsmanlike to catch within the regulations.....now, I dont know..............but I only keep one anyhow...
