Default Good Rod for 330 GT2?

Good evening guys, quick question:

What would be a decent rod that would not "break the bank" to match up with a 330 GT2 I have? I got the reel for free from a good friend and just plan to let friends use it on the boat to catch triggers and small snapper. Thanks in advance for the help, and June 1st can't get here fast enough!

Look at the Tsunami Trophy jigging/conventional rods. They are super light, have more than enough backbone and still have that "jigging" rod feel. They also have a rounded gimbal (which I wish every rod had) which is nice whether you have a fighting belt or not. Retail on them are around 69.99.

Thanks for the info guys. Any idea what model ugly stick would be best? I see them at bass pro all the time but never owned one before.

I just bought an Ugly Stik Tiger Lite Jigging rod and Diawa Saltist 35H, matched with 100lb braid and it will reel in anything.

Perfect, just the info I needed! I was going to run by Bass Pro later today anyway to do some gift shopping, so I'll check them out. Thanks again!
