Default Ford family fishing trip

Terry had his son and family down from Ohio for Thanksgiving and the kids wanted to go fishing. I knew his son Marty had two young daughters, Allyson and Taylor, who wanted to go fishing and I was told they had fishing experience. Didn't know what I was in for, but boy was I pleasantly surprised. Those two young ladies could really fish and weren't afraid of the fish and bait. They would have fished until dark if we had let them. Here is our picture account of the trip................

They were suited up and enjoying the ride out.

We could still see Pensacola Beach.

Lookslike Taylor thought this AJ she caught wascold.

Terry and I thought I had a nice AJ or Cobia, but just a large Cuda. Kids saw what teeth some of the critters have.......

Terry and one of his many, many small AJ's.

Allyson and one of her Snapper catches........these girls fished like professionals!!!

Marty holding up one of Taylor's Snapper......they were alwayssmiling!!

Grandpa Terry giving some assistance to Allyson.....Don't think she needed too much help!

Look at the size of that rod and reel thatTaylor is fishing with. Not a child's equipment!!

We didn't bring much back, but if we could have kept what we caught my 150 qt. cooler would have been full. Large Snapper are everywhere and we couldn't stay down with live bait long enough for aGrouperto get it before a Snapper did. We did catch a Gag and some Scamp that were too small. Well I must say that Ireally enjoyed this trip and if you want to feel young again take young people fishing...........Ed (ShurKetch)

p.s. No Dolphin to contend with and all of the fish returned to be caught another day!
