Locals called them Mumzels ....in the early seventies these fish would school at the old Ft. Picken's pier by the millions. Snatch one on a small treble hook ,pitch it up stream of the pier,on the outgoing tide and lord the speckled trout would inhale it .... they have since disappeared.
