Default First trip to Venice

I am trailering my 24' Boston Whaler down to Venice, staying at Cypress Cove. I am meeting up with several boats that have been down previously, but am interested on any tips on navigating the area.
I plan on fishing for reds and trout, and weather permitting going offshore for red snapper, tuna, etc.
Any coordinates, and or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

You can usually do pretty well following the shrimp boats for tuna or around certain rigs. The shrimp boats aren't too hard to find once you get out the pass. Just be saif running down the river. Its a long way out to the gulf.

The redfish are thick in S pass but just be carful if you see a small canal( cut) it probably has rocks infront of it. Most of the time you can find away around but no need too just fish the pass.
