The edge vs mingo ridge or knuckle for pelagics
Is there a noticeable difference between trolling the south edge, southwest edge knuckle or mingo ridge? We've bottom fished those spots and picked up the usual snapper, grouper and AJ's, but the areas seemed more or less the same. Troll around, mark the schools, drop a small chunk of squid and bam there's a mingo. We have had far less luck with trolling, zero hits so far. We'd like to target dolphin and wahoo with trolling or fly lines and chumming. Are we better off at one area compared to the others?

It depends. There may be a rip of temperature change in one part of the edge, and not another part.
Don't worry about location as much as water conditions. Look into subscribing to a fishing chart service to get more detailed information on water conditions out there.
