I have had some good days pulling stretches for Bull reds off Orange Beach in Feb in the good ol days. I haven't been red fishing so far this winter. Hopefully I can go down before they are gone.

trolled the pass for a while and got nothing so we ran to some public numbers and I managed to catch a fish. honestly not really sure what it was. trolled around there and nothing so we called it a day and headed back in. great day to be out in the gulf

I haven't trolled for Redfish for a few years but when I used to do it, I would always put a couple of stretch 25's out and just pick one side of the channel and troll from the pass toward the last buoys, along the edge of it until we caught something. Seemed like the number 8 buoy area always produced and it also seems like the rougher it was and the stronger the current, the better the bite.
