Dodged am thunder storms, made bait quickly (small hardtails, herring),
Area: bridge rubble, water: 1-3ft, 78ft, 87.8 degrees, slow trolling live bait downrigger 20ft, flat line with 3oz trolling weight, two surface baits outriggiers. by the time we set our first spreas, 25lb king skys the outrigger bait and is one, after resetting baits, while putting out the last outrigger it gets hit. small 8-10lb king. Hit ,miss, hit miss, hit miss for the next 1/2 hr.
Next screaming hit on the outrigger, and sailfish jumps 100yrds off stern,, 20 min fight , and shes in the boat, high fives, and cold beers all around.
And by 10:45 as fast and furious as the action was , it was over, not another
hit, for the rest of the day, But nice day, and bonus sailfish.

Pretty work! The Sailfish bite is slowing getting back to the way it was 50 years ago.
