Default Deep dropping in the Atlantic?

Did I read that right? Deep drop fishing is now completely outlawed of Florida's Atlantic Coast? No tiles, snowies, misties, yellow eyes, queens, nothing? Year round?

Good God! If they can do it there, they can do it here! Maybe I'll have to rethink my investment in electric reels and other gear.

I worry about it too, all of these reports of people just crushing grouper and tiles here makes me wonder how long it can go on before it gets noticed and they try something crazy here too. I'm going to think twice before posting a really big haul, if I get one.

I agree. Our group will post a picture of one or two of our better fish, preferably taken at the time of catch, along with a few action photos.

Pictures of piles of fish that have been dead for hours in coolers, buckets, driveways, etc don't interest me, and in my humble opinion don't present well in today's enviro-nazi fisheries management environment. We are only feeding their frenzy by doing so.

Welcome to the fight!

Recommend you pick which ever one, two, or even all three of the below recreational fishing organizations that you most agree with and join up for the long haul.
