Default Charter Boat captain Part 2

Thanks for all those who replied to my charter boat captain question in my post yesterday. I heard your advice and have decided to book Captain Jerrry Andrews of the Enterainer out of Pensacola for a 12 hr trip. It will be in November/December time frame.

Here is my next question. I have caught kings, Dolphin, the ocassional wahoo, and some tuna but never put a trip together to target these fish.

Which captain would you hire to go after Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo and maybe be able to do a deep drop in a grouper hole or two? Is that a 12 hr trip minimuim for good reults? Or would my money and time be better spent chartering a boat out of Venice?

You can't go wrong booking out of Venice.

I do alot of research and figured that.

My issue is I live in Atlanta GA. I try to put together 4-6 deep sea fishing trips ayear with my friends and family. We go out of Savannah for Grouper/Cobia/Black sea bass. Destin during snapper season for Red Snapper and Grouper.

We try a trip to Jacksonvill FL with not much luck.

I am trying to find some go to guides in panama city, pensacola or Mobile because like Jacksonville or Savannah it is only a 4-6 hr drive away. Last year we tried a charter with Chaz Heller in October it was ok kind of disappointing catch wise and the captains personality.

This year in Augest we are going out with Mickey Locke of Reel Addiciton and I am stoked about it. Then in the fall again we got a trip planned with Jerry of the Entertainer. Stoked about that

Venice is a haul and would require a bit more $$$ which puts most of my friends out of their budget even with a 6 way split or requires taking another day of vacation for them as well.

Just looking for some good go to guides for different kinds of fishing until I can move to the beach

Any help is greatly appreciated and I love to read and look at this forum, y have all been very helpful so far. Thanks

I could probably accommodate you as long as you have 6 or less people

Jerry does overnighters, and deep dropping. For deep dropping, you would be on his smaller boat the Big Zulu. It's a 34 Venture. 3-5 people is your best bet. Give him a call and talk to him about it.

Call Jake Adams. He is a fish killing machine. Just look at his post. His pictures say it all. Great guy and first class captain.
